AskQ Setup Guide

This guide walks you through the steps required to set up AskQ and connect it securely to your ERP data.

1. Review ERP-Specific Prerequisites

Before starting the setup, ensure you have completed the prerequisites for your specific ERP system.

AskQ supports the following ERPs, each with its own prerequisite article in this Knowledge Base:

    •    Infor LN CloudSuite

    •    Infor M3 CloudSuite

    •    Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/Syteline)

    •    Infor CloudSuite Distribution (CSD)

    •    Infor CloudSuite Financial (CSF/FSM)

Please review the relevant ERP Prerequisites article before continuing.

2. Sign Up for AskQ

• Go to https://askq.ai
• Sign up for an AskQ subscription

After completing your purchase:

• You will receive a receipt confirming the transaction
• You will receive a welcome email with a link to log in and set your password
• Follow the link and set your password

3. Create an Infor API Configuration (Infor Portal)

To allow AskQ to securely access your Infor data, you need to create an authorized application in the Infor Portal.

1. Log in to the Infor Portal for the tenant you'd like to use with AskQ
2. Navigate to: OS → API Gateway → Authorized Apps
3. Click + to add a new application
4. Enter the following:
   1. Name: AskQ
   2. Application Type: Backend Service
   3. Description: Any description of your choice
   4. Leave all other fields blank
   5. Click Save at the top of the page
5. Once the application is saved:
   1. Scroll down and click Download Credentials
   2. Enable Create Service Account
   3. Do not fill in any additional fields
   4. Click Download

This will download a file named:
