AskQ ERP Prerequisites - Infor CloudSuite Distribution (CSD)

This article outlines the minimum prerequisites required before connecting AskQ to your ERP via the Infor Data Lake.

AskQ does not extract data directly from the ERP. All data must already be flowing from the ERP into the Infor Data Lake using standard Infor tooling.

Overview

Before setting up AskQ, you must ensure that:

• The required ERP tables are enabled for replication
• Data is successfully flowing into the Infor Data Lake
• The data is current and regularly refreshed

Each ERP has its own Infor documentation describing how to enable and manage this data flow. 

Required ERP Tables

AskQ relies on a defined set of core ERP tables being available in the Infor Data Lake.

At a minimum:

• All required tables must be present in the Data Lake
• Tables must contain data (not just empty schemas)
• Tables must be updating as part of a regular replication process

⚠️ AskQ will not function correctly if any required tables are missing or not populated.

Verifying Data in the Infor Data Lake

Before proceeding with AskQ setup, you should verify that data is available in the Infor Data Lake.

At a minimum, you should be able to:

• See the expected tables in the Data Lake
• Query recent records
• Confirm that data updates over time

If data is not present or not updating, this must be resolved in the Infor portal before continuing with AskQ setup.

Final Check

You are ready to proceed with the AskQ Setup Guide once:

✔ All required ERP tables are flowing into the Infor Data Lake

✔ Data is populated and current

✔ You can confirm the tables listed in the Infor documentation are present

If these prerequisites are not met, AskQ setup will fail or result in incomplete data.
