The Company Dimension provides a comprehensive view of the company entities within the organization’s data warehouse. It consolidates key company information such as unique identifiers, parent relationships, company type, local currency, and status indicators, allowing business leaders to analyze and report on company data effectively.

Output Column Database Logic Description
Company Key Concatenation of company number and company suffix to create a unique company identifier. This is a unique identifier for each company, created by combining the company's number and an additional suffix. It ensures each company can be distinctly recognized in reports and analyses.
Company Parent Numeric identifier representing the parent company number. This field indicates the parent company to which the current company belongs, helping to understand hierarchical relationships within the organization.
Company Number Numeric code assigned to each company. This is the primary code assigned to each company, serving as an essential reference for identifying companies in the business system.
Company Name Descriptive name of the company. The official name of the company, used for identification and presentation purposes in business reporting.
Company Type Description of the company type derived from an enumeration table. This tells you the type or category of the company, providing insight into the nature or role of each company within the overall enterprise.
Local Currency Currency code associated with the company. This indicates the local currency used by the company, which is important for financial analysis and reporting.
Deleted Flag indicating whether the company record is marked as deleted. This status flag shows if a company is no longer active in the system, helping maintain clean and accurate data.
Last Modified Datetime Timestamp of the last modification to the company record. This records the most recent date and time when the company information was updated, ensuring users have the latest data.
